As the first immigrant Miss Texas, I traveled across the state and country advocating for autism awareness, safety, and education. I also served as a statewide brand ambassador for the American Heart Association advocating for heart healthy initiatives, and a statewide ambassador for Texas Cares for Children to support Title I schools across the state.

At Miss America 2025, I placed first runner-up and earned an additional $13,000 in scholarships, bringing my total to $55,500 earned during my two year tenure in the Miss America Opportunity.

My Community Service Initiative as Miss Texas is entitled β€œThe S.P.A.R.K. Project: Autism Awareness, Safety, and Education.” After my nonverbal and autistic younger brother, Andrew, wandered out of a high school classroom and into a busy intersection a half mile away from the school, I sought to improve public awareness and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The S.P.A.R.K. framework (Support, Policy, Advocacy, Resource equity, and Knowledge through education) aims to ensure that all individuals with autism and their families are able to thrive and reach their highest potential.

As Miss Texas, I have partnered with notable national nonprofit organizations including Autism Speaks, Best Buddies, and the Organization for Autism Research. I have traveled over 5,000 miles across the country providing educational trainings, keynotes, and policy recommendations benefiting children and adults with autism.

MISS TEXAS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The Miss America Opportunity (formerly the Miss America Organization) serves to empower all women to lead, especially in higher education. Through the Miss Texas Organization and the Miss America Opportunity, I have earned over $55,000 in scholarships in just two years! As an incoming law student, half of my legal education would be paid for thanks to the scholarships I have earned throughout my tenure in the Miss America Opportunity.
